With the recent signings of Jussi Rynnas and Ben Scrivens, it would not be a surprise if Reimer is moved during the off-season. Regardless of the jersey he wears, James has a bright future in the NHL. He has earned an AHL starting position for next season and, if he stays in the Leafs organization, should see his first NHL start during the 11/12 season.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed German defensemen, Korbinian Holzer, to a 2 year, 2-way entry level deal. The contract will see the youngster earn $62,500 ($781.25 per game) at the AHL level or a cap hit of $595,000 ($7,256.10 per game) in the big league.

The Toronto Marlies announced that they have signed young forward, Philippe Paradis to an amateur try-out contract. Paradis, Carolina’s 2009 1st round selection, was acquired by the Maple Leafs in exchange for Jiri Tlusty, selected 13th overall by Toronto in 2006.
